This week’s e-learning challenge is about creating an example of audio slideshow storytelling.
Audio Slideshow Storytelling with effective visuals and voice over, are a great way to grab learners’ interest.
With an idea to emotionally hook the audience, we built a story, added some exciting, creepy background sounds and voice over directing the audience to act accordingly. We have had much focus on the voice over and have it demand the interest of the audience so that their total attention is towards the story happening within.
We made it interactive to hold the audience attention and wanted them to be attentive to head forward.
Design
We’ve used the visuals of a character to exhibit the moods in the beginning and at the end; designed it in a way to sustain the theme of little fear and horror. Overall we had it look dark and theme relevant to make the audience actively immerse in the interaction.
Technology
We’ve built this using Articulate Storyline and it is a kind of example where learners are made to immerse in the story first, then learn something important.
